It's what you wear from ear to ear, and not from head to toe that matters

Bevie is in town to see her West Point beau Nate. Here is a picture snapped of them before they left in the pouring rain. Big smiles.

In other, less romantic and exciting news, Evelyn is sporting two more teeth. Yep, she breaks 'em in in pairs. Top fronts are in. As she went down for her nap this afternoon, I could not believe my ears -- she was grinding them with the bottom two. Maybe that's why they arrive with little serated edges? In these pics she's sporting a dress handed down from Aunt Cinda, Bevie's mom. I wore it. My sisters wore it. Paige did too. So sweet and diaphanous.

So, I knew Evie was getting big and sitting up, but didn't actually know she was standing unassisted. Wow. Lovely gown, beautiful smiles.

Well she's been practicing the standing thing for a week or two but she only stands unassisted for moments at a time.
The dress is lovely and it is boggling to touch Evie and the dress and think of all those lovely little girls who wore it who are now adult lovely women.
