After breakfast this morning, as we were loading up to go to art class:
"Mommy, I fink I want to take somepink to eat in the car. How about just plain bread, no butter, no jelly?"
"Okay, sure Paige, or would you like to try a piece of this nice Stollen bread? It's got fruit inside and powdered sugar on top?"
"Mmmm, that's a little messy, I fink, Mommy. Better do the plain bread with nuhfink on it." As she says this she scrunches up her nose and nods wisely.

Paige is a Doll,Steph...we received the gorgeous pics card this morning (Thank-you) and I have put them in pride of place where everyone who calls on Christmas morning will ask me "who are those gorgeous kids"??? we received yours and Bevs too,Eric,and both laughed out loud!! what a cracking card hahaha brought back memories too...POKER??
What a lil smarty pants! That cracked me up! Yes, at times she seems to be a little adult crammed into a three year olds body. Give those cuties my love.
Oh, to add to Auntie Norma's comment, we received our Christmas card too. AND! What a brilliant idea. Instead of the typical assortment of pics, a nice fold out picture book was a refreshing change !

Hilarious! I love to hear about your duo! I loved your christmas card Steph! They are always great but, this year you outdid yourself! I check often and don't always get a chance to comment! I'll try and be better about that in the new year!
I can just imagine her saying that so matter of factly...
see I told you so!!! "who are those gorgeous children??" and "what lovely kids" ...and "is that their lovely Mommy wow!!!" and we have a lot more visitors to go yet....Michaels' girlfriend from the States visited today and she was impressed with my American half of my Family..Mike met Esther when he went to University in America this year..so I visualise losing another one of my Family to America!! ....they are not THAT serious yet though (I hope) :o)
