The Posse

Graham and Nana enjoy some giggle time together!

Well, thanks for sticking around and not giving up on me. It has been a whirlwind of fun around here since Wednesday night. There hasn't been much time to spare for sitting at the computer. The tea on Thursday was a HUGE success. My family "posse" was gigantic, and we had Jenn with us in spirit. We started out with a light lunch of salad and lots of girl talk. We got ready while Paige and Graham napped, and all my exhuberant laughers tried mightily to keep their loud laughs in check as we curled, powdered, primped and dressed in my bathroom just across the hall from the sleeping tots.

Then we climbed into the stretch suv for our ride to the tea. My party was a group of 23, but we had four last minute cancellations/no shows. The ladies who did arrive munched on little sandwiches, scones and desserts. We drank champagne, tea (of course!) and Harvey's Bristol Cream -- aka sherry. The event was over before we knew it. But luckily, we tucked a to-go dinner in the back of our ride, enjoyed the holiday lights on the way home, and gathered round the table with Al for a lamb dinner. Everyone was sleepy, but we rallied for a game of Catchphrase.

It sure does jumpstart the festive season for me. I am sooooooooooooooo happy to see my family. Doesn't happen often enough.

Smashing pics of the twins. Also not a bad looking bunch posing outside the block-long limo!

I can see why the tots wanted Nana to stay a 'bonus' day. She has such a good time with them...
Bev's pic of PK is really nice.

So glad it went down well!

I'm having a fabulous time with everyone here! The tea was extremely fun...and all the visiting is better, yet!=) I'm enjoying my "huge" fanclub in Paige and Graham....they call me "Bebe"....which is by far the best modification of "Bevie"! I'm soaking up all of the sweet hugs and kisses they give out.

Too cute! I'm so bummed I have to leave soon...these special trips seem to fly by WAY too quickly!

Love you all-Bevie-

P.S. Grandad, thanks for the "bonus" day(as repeated by P&G frequently) with Nana...it was terrific!

It was a lovely event and definitely over too soon. I can't wait to see the precious twins again.

Emily, you are sorely missed! Every once in awhile P&G will call me "Auntie Eminie.."....or say "where'd auntie Eminie go?".........

This is a GREAT age!
Have I said that enough?

Love-Bevie-

sigh... thanks for saying I was there in spirit... really wish I could've gone, even if it was just to get my hair done.

Glad you all had a good time, especially YOU, Steph, as hostess.

Yes, it was a wonderful time had by all but especially me! Now I know for sure I am the LUCKIEST NANA in the world. P&G even have a song they sing about "We Love Nana!" Mr. Giggles and I were pretty much inseparable and Sweet Paigie gives the sweetest kisses and tightest hugs! It wasn't too much trouble talking me into a Bonus Day. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Steph and my namesake Bevie - we went shopping at the Galleria and enjoyed the Christmas Atmosphere. Thanks again, Steph, for a spectacular time!!!!! Love, M
