Christmas Festivities Realtime

So here is how our day is going today:

Al left for a breakfast meeting, and soon the house was full of workers and awake, hungry toddlers. I managed to get my hair and makeup done by the time Al returned, and I left the kids with him while I went to the post office. The post office was ginning, but I still had to manually apply over 100 stamps. Thank goodness they were adhesive and not lickable! By the time I got to my friend Molly's Christmas Coffee, it was over. Sigh.

So I returned home, and saw Al's good works -- Paige had a big accident that left him with no option but to bathe her. I didn't have to deal with the mess, just saw a fresh clean Paigie, dressed in her holiday lunch attire. Graham needed to be changed, but he was obviously apprised of the lunch plans, because he said, "Hi MOmmy! I miss you Mommy. I ready to go party with you Mommy! And Paigie and Daddy go too!" He was bouncing around. He got changed and off we went to the awesome Coronado Club Family Holiday Buffet.

They even had a low buffet line for the kids. Paige really enjoyed their fruit skewers. We all ate plenty, and then we thought, what the heck, we'll try this Santa photo thing again. We were delighted. Look what we got:

And now I am off to Adrienne's Christmas Coffee! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee fun day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Much better Christmas picture and this Santa looks alot more friendly too! Maybe it was not being put into a high carriage that was more friendly. I love the two different expressions of the kids - Paige, so sweet and demure with her hands folded in her lap and then Graham, a real little wrestling, bouncy boy. Love those children. Love, Nana

That is such a fabulous piccy, really lovely, isn't it great when they get to the stage that Santa is no longer a very scary man with particularly bad taste in outfits!! Aren't self adhesive stamps an absolute godsend. You know, I was just thinking Steph, looking at the truly spectacular piccy you got, you could always erase the Coronado Club Family Christmas 2005 and use that as your christmas card - just a thought! (smirky grin - well it is 12.05 am, I'm entitled to be daft). If I haven't already said it, have a lovely Christmas, big hugs to all of you XXXXX
