Last week something pretty funny happened. Just when my friend Katie had come over to visit, I was putting the kids to bed. This is usually a sweet and almost unbelievably good time of day in our house. I said goodnight and went downstairs to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese while catching up with Katie. We heard crying. I went back up because that is so unusual.
Me: "What's going on in here?"
Graham: "Paigie HIT me!"
Me: "Paige, did you hit him?"
Paige: "Yes. I hit Grahamie. But Mommy, he just TALK and TALK and TALK. I trying to sleep."
I retold it to Al and he said he doesn't know how I keep a straight face.
