Where does the time go?

Hi blog readers. It is a gorgeous end to a lovely day here in Houston. The weather was intoxicating, 70s during the day, low humidity, no mosquitoes, and cool verging on chilly tonight at about 55. Al and I managed to squeeze in a quick "date" at Cafe Laurier while Emily, the blessed-returned-from-Spring-Break-babysitter, got the kids fed, showered, jammied, and watching Tom & Jerry upon our return. They smelled so amazingly fresh and clean. It was a treat to just get that hour-and-a-half break. Made me realize how awesome it all is.

P&G&I pulled weeds in the yard this morning. Then a package arrived. It contained yard art, yes, I am so cheesy. We now have hand-painted bunnies on our front steps. They are riding in convertible eggs, no less! Tack-o-rama, and loving it! Not much else to mention unless you like to hear about how I found giant paper mache Easter eggs at Package Pretty today that the kids helped hang in one of our trees. Graham enjoyed chasing Paige and me around the yard while he taunted us with the reach-and-grab pincers I used to get the eggs in the tree. Also the kids ran down the street to get a sweet little tomato from the volunteer plant in Mrs. Lane's yard. They ate lunch and dinner outside on our patio. Dinner was shrimp cocktail for them. I marvelled at their taste, and wonder how many other 2 1/2 yr-olds are supping on shrimp tonight.

Here's a pic from almost two years ago (May 04) that you might enjoy. Wow look how bald they were!

And soaking wet with drool!!! They have grown up so much in this fast/past 2 years. They definitely aren't babies any more.
All my love, Nana

Oooh, look at the little babies!!! Steph isn't it incredible how they have grown, I find myself digging out pics of Lukey from when he was younger and it makes me feel so sad sometimes that he is growing up so very quickly. Do you ever find that you don't realise how much they have come on in their development until you look at pics like these? Incredible isn't it XXXX
