I'm on a role, everyone else is sleeping

Yes, I know, I'm sick, I should be sleeping too. But it doesn't really work that way. I have this insane mommy gene (I do actually blame my mother for this one) where, if there is a "space" in my day, I have to fill it with the bazillion things there are to do around my house. So...I'm doing laundry and catching up on all my internet stuff.

First, I love my new IPOD. I love being able to jump from genre to genre -- nevermind artist to artist. I have crazy eclectic tastes, yesterday I downloaded a bunch of classical stuff AND Indigo Girls. The day before it was Yo Yo Ma and Puff the Magic Dragon. The day before that it was Steppenwolf (for Al, really) and Allison Krauss. It is sooo much fun. Plus I get to see my little twinnies bopping in their carseats with delight to all the tunes. And that includes my bent toward hip hop, thank you very much, they love One Two Step. Oh I even got the theme song for one of my favorite shows, Deadwood.

Second, I would like to add that everything in my house is now a spectator sport. I not only have two extra eyeballs staring at things, I have four! So as the ol Baby Ruth hit the water the other day, there was great fanfare, and Paige exclaimed, "There it goes!" Yes, my little cupcake, bombs away.

Okay, I will go change out loads and empty the lint catcher thingy now...

You know Mommy is going to feel guilty for this! But it's not all bad. I've noticed Daddy has a strong work ethic, too. He stays pretty busy most of the day. I have a hard time relaxing, too, when there are projects to be done (like laundry). But take care of yourself! Love you.

Oh, I'm so glad you have joined in on the blog postings. I love reading them from your sisters, I log on everyday and now I have yours, too. I love the info, witty comments and humor! Don't worry, I know Mother's pass on traits that are not always intentional but never fear, someday you too will be blamed by Paige for causing her angst! :) Love you, M/Nana

Someday? Oh no, she already blames me, mommy. When things aren't going her way, she looks at me and blurts out in frustration, "Be Nice!" as though I am the puppetier of the universe. Sheeesh!

Steph I'm glad you did this even if you left me off your list:-(

All you girls are so lucky ....you haven't p/u any bad traits from me!

But, you did get the good ones:

I like wine(all 3 picked up on this)
I like animals(all 3 p/u on this 2)
I sew my own alterations(Em)

I like having a blog or two to investigate daily.

Thanks
