We're not in Nantucket anymore, Toto

It was hard to say goodbye to our friends who treat us like family on that little bitty island, and coming home to do loop-de-loos over the skies of Texas to wait out a thunderstorm was deflating, but our car ride home was nothing short of spectacular with both a rainbow AND plenty of lightning. We even saw the smoke stream-like trail of bats departing from their Waugh bridge home to the green, eerie storm sunset skies, and, finally, into the driveway of embraces with Nana and Grandad. Some Sunday bbq really made us feel right at home. mmmmm.

Welcome home Steph...I will make it to the itty bitty island next year even if it is just me.

Love that chair the girls are sitting on! Very cool! Glad you had a nice vacation and made it back safely. Great picture of the stormy Houston skyline!
