Time to stop my shenanigans

okay, I know, I'm maniacal these days with the vaccuuming and tidying. Well, it has to stop or at least slow down. Last night, contractions were getting pretty close together and feeling all-too-much like the real thing. THANK HEAVENS I was surrounded by my sweet husband and mom and dad. The "men folk" went to get dinner; I watched all teary-eyed as Graham slid his mit into Grandad's hand and they walked out the door. Paigie and Nana stayed home to keep me on the couch. I literally ate lying down. Sent myself to bed at the kids' bedtime. The contractions lessened and I stayed horizontal until this morning.

At my scheduled appt this morning I told my OB/Gyn that I hoped he enjoyed his evening because his number was on my lap and I was poised to call. He laughed and said he cooked dinner last night. Well, good, hope you enjoyed it I said. Then we discussed when he'd be in and out of town and he checked my cervix. It is a little dialated and starting to efface. She could very well stay in there to full term. But if she comes anytime after 36 weeks (that's in 13 days) he said he won't stop the labor. WOW. I cannot believe we are so close to meeting her.

Now for a belly pic. She sits right out in front. Her head is down and pressing at the exit:

Put those feet up and let the dust settle in a bit! You are doing an amazing job carrying that little girl! I have a feeling she's anxious to get out and in your arms and to meet Paige and Graham, of course! Good thoughts coming your way! You are so close!

Your belly is so perfectly beautiful! She looks very happy in there and hope she is for a little bit longer. You are a gorgeous pregnant person Steph and even more spectacular mommy. This little girl is as lucky as Graham and Paige. The end is so exciting!

It would be neat if you could put all your "belly" shots in sequence so we could appreciate the progression. After seeing this one today, I scrolled back to the previous 2 shots and you can definitely see she is getting ready. Hang in there little one! Yep, it's looking like another May B-Day for our family!!
Love you, M
