Finally, I think I am getting my health and strength back! I have only blown my nose a handful of times today -- MIRACULOUS! Although it is getting gloomy out and raining now, we've managed to pack in a spectacular day so far. The kids danced flamenco while I put away laundry. They surfed on their IKEA ironing boards while I ironed and then they told me they saw Grandad outside. Sure enough, he'd come over to work on a little fence by the pool equipment. He had a LOT more patience with his grandchildren as "helpers" than I recall him having for me as a child, and I enjoyed making a variety of pannini sandwiches and iced tea for us all after the hard work was done. Then we swam. Now that they are asleep, the sky is dark and the house is full of the smell of cupcakes. Life is good!
Happy Birthday, Emily!

Thank you! :-)
Looks like a great day.
And sweet little Paigie helping Grandad out, no less, in her flamingo dress! Wow, what class!

Absolutely LOVE the "helper" photos! Joe often has helpers too, although not always patient!
The last pic of P&G is adorable!
Last one is a winner!
