Just had to show pics of the kids devouring the watermelon. They each ate two giant slices and we still have enough to do it all again tomorrow. Also, I was tickled by Al tonight -- when I picked up my camera to show him the pics of the kids eating the watermelon, he said, "Oh, you want to take pictures of the salads?" Guess he has come to know our family and our penchant for snapping pics of FOOD. So, thanks to Al's suggestion, here are the two salads Al and I had for dinner tonight. We made them with tomatoes from Lee and Cinda's garden. Also, the caprese was made with the happy, mammoth basil from my herb garden, courtesy of the rainy hot summer we've been experiencing here in Houston.
