How do I love thee

Low grade fevers kept P&G in my care at home today. On the plus side, I employed the nifty submersion blender my sister Jenn gave us for Christmas to make blueberry vanilla Stoneyfield Farms Yogurt Smoothies at lunchtime. Since the children have had very puny stomachs for several days, it was the perfect cool, soothing and sneaky probiotic tonic. Their appetites came back late this afternoon and, like a midday dawn, the snack attack was on. We are all hopeful that tomorrow will be a new day with no fevers in sight. I better plan a feast!

After bathtime tonight, as I was putting Evie's diaper on (in the expert-level-skills-required-teetering-stand-up position) and Graham was dressing himself handsomely with a tucked-in pj top, Paige walked over and said, "Mommy, you know where I put my toothbrush? I put my toothbrush right next to yours, because I love you." Cringe. Oh well, I'm sure I've kissed her head and snuggled her limp body enough this week to have already come in closer contact with whatever she's battling.

Oh I really hope that they both get better very soon, I can only imagine how tired you must be. The smoothies sound great, very clever. Really hoping you don't pick up the bug too, give the toothbrush a good old dose of boiling water. XX

I'm glad you're really enjoying the blender! But sorry to hear the sickness is hanging on...
