Windows to Paradise

We went to the tip of Baja California and revisited one of the most treasured places in our lives this weekend. At Las Ventanas al Paraiso, where we were married, we all played and relaxed for a few days. It was...well...paradise. The staff has found even more incredible ways to spoil guests (like loaded ipods at the pool, countless frozen treats delivered to you on your lounger, a brunch that had us stuffed to the gills, and a little sewing repair kit in our room custom assembled to match our wardrobe!) They even gave each of the kids a teddy bear and presented us with a wonderful leather album to house all our Los Cabos memories.

During the day, it was all guacamole and swimming fun at the pool . The kids agree that the swim-up bar is really something we should look into for our house (ha ha). At night, we all enjoyed watching the sun set and the rising of the FULL moon, in all it's October burnt orange splendor over the Pacific. There were musicians playing acoustic guitar, our children dressed in white dancing quietly and peacefully with twirling ballet poses and twinkling candle lights along the glassy infinity pool. It was too much!

Las Ventanas is a quiet, calm place. Not really a splash-around-and-scream-at-the-pool resort. We were pretty darn proud of Paige and Graham's behavior and received so many compliments about them. I think they were genuinely relaxed and enjoyed the laidback nature of it all.
