Rainy days are good for blogging

This is the first rainy day we've had all month! Paige is coloring in the stack of coloring books sent in a care package from Aunt Gwynn (A MILLION THANKS!) and Graham is taking a whopper nap. We were supposed to go on a seal/whale cruise this morning, but it was cancelled due to high winds and weather. So instead, we are having a laundry/bill-paying/cake-baking slow day at the beach house called STARFISH. This little shack needs some tlc. It had a bad mildew smell when we got here from a backed up sump pump, but we've cleaned up that mess and enhanced the place with our own smells of fresh laundry, bacon, cake, candles and bubble baths.

We've had some great times in our extended stay here. The Boston Pops concert on Jetties Beach Saturday night was the ultimate highlight for sure. Bernadette Peters sang and the kids enjoyed dancing. There were fireworks and and amazing sunset. So spectacular.

Will post more pictures tonight. My little slumbermonster is waking up.

That first picture is just beautiful, with the lighting on the boats, wow! The kids look great, and Paigie looks like she's lost some baby fat around her face! Miss you

Steph!
Good to hear from you! Is this weather not been HEAVEN? We have been at the beach everyday and the rain day was a catch up around here too! We are going to the Cape for a week on this Saturday 8/19 if you are still here and want to take the fast ferry and meet for lunch! We will be in Hyannis. Love the picture of the boats in the harbor...the colors are fantastic! The summer in Mass. is so picturesque and I am glad you are witnessing it! The kids look like islanders! Have fun and let me know about Hyannis!
Love, Regan

Love the pictures! Paige and Graham seems to be basking in all the activities! Glad you all are having a wonderful time!

XOXOXOXO!

P.S. When I was in NY it was unseasonably HOT! I was hoping for a break form the oppressing Texas scorcher......oh well!
XOXOXO!
