Stormy Weather

The rain is tumbling down. There are low and long thundering booms. We dashed next door for our breakfast(lots of fresh berries, YUM) , had to trudge over to the formal restaurant to use the facilities -- a half closet of a loo under the staircase where you had to duck and scoot to get to the potty obstructed by the backside of the fireplace (!) -- then back again to our teeny tiny room called Hydrangea, and we are content to play indoors this morning and wait for the rain to pass. But the forecast calls for weather like this all day, and we are supposed to move to a bigger suite (to accomodate all 4 of us when Daddy-O arrives) Now that should be interesting...getting all our bags moved to the opposite side of this inn, to our new room which is located upstairs. Uh huh.

Here are some pretty portrait shots from drier days. And one of them playing in the room just now.

Some nice gentleman who was playing ball with his son volunteered to take one with me in it. I acquiesced because I knew my mom and dad would want one like that. Glad you likey.
