That's what my sister Jenn http://www.vetmommy.blogspot.com called it anyway. Five weird things about me, okay here goes:
1. I can stick out my tongue and make it contract down the middle, making it look like a little bum (nice, huh?)
2. I've had 13 surgeries on my big toe nails when I was a preteen/teen because we -- my sisters and I -- were cursed with chubby toes that easily got ingrown nails. Really nice!
3. Lately everyone seems to think this is weird...I asked my husband specifically for no jewelry for Christmas. All I really wanted was an oboe. He found one for me. Yes, I can play it. Not at well as I'd like, but I'm working on it.
4. I like the ferrous smell of a multivitamin. Yes, I know, it probably means I'm iron deficient. I do eat a lot of dark leafy greens and meat, though. And I take a multi.
5. I play as hard on the playground as my kids. I love the swings!
I don't really have any blog people to infect with this. So, I guess it gets a dead end here. Here's an idea: Bevie, Norma, Paula, Brandy and Nana, since you are my frequent commenters, please feel free to post 5 weird things about you right here in your comments to this post. Wahooo!

hhhmmm put on the spot. I'll give it my best shot!
1. I love after a hard day of school to do a high kick and pop my hip. That wins me the wierd award around my house!
2. I have a MILLION dollar smile(okay, not really).....I've had at least three surgeries in my mouth to try and correct all my problems(apparently I have a small mouth with big teeth).
3. I've had my braces on for FIVE YEARS....May I emphasize the WHOLE five years plus two months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully just one more month of this "torture" process, as I like to call it!
4. I've only been out of the US once in my life...that was to Canada when I was 1.
5. I have an unusual tendency to get along with lil kids...very uncommon for teenagers,I guess!

Oh Wow, where oh where do I start ok:
I love the smell of exhaust fumes!!! When I was a kid I used to sit on the doorstep when the ice cream van visited not for the ice cream but just to smell the fumes as it idled on the road outside (probably explains a lot about my mental state)
I love squishing anything mushy between my toes and fingers (this excludes dog pooh on the beach of course)
I am obsessed with stationery, I often visit the childrens resource centre pretending to buy more craft supplies for Luke but really I am drooling over all the great stuff myself (paper stick on's, coloured paper, glossy folders etc etc)
I pick the hard skin off my feet and sometimes "lose it" down the sofa cushions (I know, sick) but then I do hoover them every morning! The sofa cushions not my feet!
I have to check the front door is locked at least 5 times before going to bed happily
I have total fear of plumbing and birds (I know that makes 6 but I couldn't leave it out)
hahahahaahahaha wot a laff!! I am racking my Brain to see what I can come up with cos I don't think that I am weird :) well ermm ..crazy as it may sound to some of you I love housework and get GREAT satisfaction 'bleaching' the loos every day...I love the smell of a Dogs' fur...I adore little Babies and when out shopping I just cannot resist cooing over them (I think I embarrass whoever I am with at the time)...(how am I doing?) ermm I go into a card shop to buy a card (of course) and stand there laughing at the comical ones..then realise what I am doing and look around to see if anyone has heard..(I embarrass myself at this one)..see.. I told you I am not weird enough to answer this survey. hahahhah xxx
Ha ha ha! I am giggling, reading these at work. Bev, you DO have a million dollar smile, and you are the only person I know personally who had braces longer than me (and at 3 years, you beat me by a LOOOOONG shot). Paula, liking exhaust fumes and picking your feet definitely qualifies as weird - you win this one! Do you think you associate the fumes with the rewards of the ice cream truck? And I can just see Auntie Norma laughing to herself reading the cards - everyone should have such good sense as to crack themselves up at the shop - who cares if anyone's watching!

Okay, as I was reading everyone elses top five wierd things...I came up with two more...just can't help myself...
6. I LOVE to drive!Put me behind the wheel and I'm a happy camper...yesterday was probably the most stressed I've been driving- navigating downtown Austin.
7. I LLOOOVVEEE cold chinese food. It really is VERY yummy!

LOL OMGosh, these are so funny! Unfortunately, I'm semi-normal. I don't know if I can come up with 5 weird things...but here it goes.
1. I hate milk - always have...so I dip my oreos in water.
2. I absolutely HATE carrying a purse. For the longest time, I just put my drivers license in my back pocket. Lost it more than once that way. Now, I just throw my wallet into the diaper bag.
3. I'm a Hootie & the Blowfish fan. LOL My hubby insists that makes me a freak!
4. Due to years of wearing contacts, I have no issues with touching my eyeballs - freaks Joey out big time.
5. Although I *DO* scrapbook, I'm more of a collector of scrapbook supplies...I'm in LOVE with the paper! I have tons and tons of paper and can't resist buying more when I'm out.
6. I absolutely love the smell of those big ol' permanent markers! I could sniff them for hours - although I do refrain! I can't afford to lose anymore brain cells!
