Today the kids joined me for my "well woman" visit. Lovely annual event, made even more special with the addition of two spectators. I thought that the Dora dvd and Barbara's Cheese Puffs would be enough ammo to get me through this. However, little man Graham was way to concerned about his mommy on that table. He was so sweetly concerned. He said, "Hand, Mommy" and insisted that I hold his hand the whole time. I asked him if he wanted to be a doctor, and he said, "mmm hmmm" Paige was only briefly interested when the Dr palpated my breasts. She wasn't sure that was necessary, judging by the frown. Scarred for life, I'm sure.
On the ride home, I did the typical mom-in-car thing -- reached for any old piece of stuff in which to spit out my gum. Graham saw this, and as I put the bit of plastic-wrap up to my mouth he said, "No eat trash, Mommy!"

Ha ha ha! Love it.
Oh, how funny is that!! Absolutely priceless Steph!! You are sooo brave taking them with you. Luke has this 'adorable' habit at the moment of grabbing both my boobs with his hands while he is in the shopping trolley and going "Wooh Wooh Mummy". Dreadful especially when you are in the middle of a busy queue! He also points at strange men and shouts "Daddy!" Awful, truly truly awful!!!
Love the "no eat trash Mommy". V V Funny!!!
Cute quotes,Steph! Your little ones are lookin' out for you! *smile*
Love ya-Bevie-
I love their sweet concern for you! I can't imagine taking two toddler spectators with me to the OBGYN. Wow.
Oh my, you are braver than me! Glad you all got through it, lol!

NO WAY I am braver than you, Lisa, mother of triplet toddlers AND singleton one-year-old!!!!! But thanks for the kuddos. ;) I only did it because I had noone to watch them.
Yikes! Definitely a brave woman! I'd NEVER be able to do it! Nathaniel cries when I have to just sit on the table, let alone lay down! :) Kudos gal!
