Eating her Curbs and Waves

We have a few fleeting remnants of the language of Paige and Graham's preschool years. Gone are the narples (marbles) and scallop (scalp) but we still have calapitters (caterpillars) and Little Miss Muffet eats curbs and waves. Instead of Sukie put the kettle on, we have our great, great aunt Sudie doing it. I love this stuff.

Ah but then there's Ev bringing up the rear with her newly bursting words: This pleases me so! The return of an adorable finger pointing to the sky and that wee mouth says air-peen. Can't get enough: toe-toes, beebee (baby), nigh-nigh, shhhh...

And, please if you think I have too much time on my hands (seriously, have you every been a mom to three children? You think I have an abundance of TIME?) to be enjoying all this and fretting over things that put a damper on their fun, just click and GO AWAY, You Scrooge!

As a mom of 3, there is no TIME...HAAHAHAHA. And time doesn't return when they're older, either! I love the way the "littles", as I call them, speak! Mine are now 14, 12, and 4, and I miss "wead to me" and "widicuwus" (ridiculous). I hear ya!

Napkins here are (and seems like they might forever be) nap-kittens. No clue where it came from, but the boys really can't just say "napkin".
