Sunday our dear friends made mince pies from scratch. Monday they called to tell us the pies were sitting on their front porch. Something else they'd made was ready to come out of the oven. Katie was in labor and they were heading to the hospital. Here's Monday's made-from-scratch-toasty-warm creation:

The mince pies looked great and tasted even better than they looked.
Baby Toby looks great too. He sticks his knuckle in his mouth and makes a LOT of Noise. That kid can suck for England!
