Silent Night

Merry Christmas 2007. Today started pre-dawn with snuggles and giggles in bed while we waited to go downstairs and see -- not the presents -- but see if Santa had eaten the cookies Paige and Graham made and laid out for him. He did!

After a whole lot of unwrapping and twistytie wrestling, hosting friends for brunch, drinking champagne, a fantastic bike ride on new wheels and playing with new things, everyone settled in snug and warm and happy tonight. I'm the only one up. Al is not feeling well. Ev is still battling boogies and coughs, as is Graham. Paige is no-doubt sleeping with a smile on her face -- blissful about her new pink harp from Santa. Nana and Grandad are ready to head out to NYC tomorrow. Our relatives who were to have arrived tonight are snowed in in Denver. And so another Christmas is in the books.

As she stirred her noodles for dinner tonight, Paige let me know she was already working on being good for next Christmas. Guess we've got that "Santa's watching all year round" thing down pat.

What a beautiful collage of your magical Christmas! Man, do I think Graham is looking more and more like Al! Love Paige's harp....wow! Their personalized aprons too for cookie baking...those pictures were so bright and cheery too! Graham holding the candle is precious Steph...so sweet! Where were you with all of the balloons? Did you get the paper crowns in some Christmas poppers? We have them too and the kids love them! The matching pin striped pj's are too much...adorable! We love that pop up 12 Days of Christmas book too...isn't it beautiful? Well, Merry Christmas Walkers and thanks for sharing your holidays!
