Here are some pics from this week. We've had more doting visitors and scrumptious meals dropped off, and we are lovin it!

The sun cuts through our family room in the early evening. I told Paigie it looked like a spotlight on her from God. She held still so I could capture the beauty. Click to magnify.

Today we all went up to the club for lunch. It really worked out to be stress-free, because whenever Evie needed to eat, I just headed over to the ladies locker room. They brought my lunch in there and I was very comfy on the couch listening to the chattering of the ladies playing bridge behind me. Their world is full of surgeries, treatments, diets to lower cholesterol, and trips to the "Desert" or "Martha's Vineyard." They discussed politics and pimento cheese all in one breath. They complimented eachother and gave eachother heck with such grace and ebb and flow, as though it were a ballet of words. I smiled. Evie drank to her hearts content. We were peaceful.
Back home let this day go on record as one where all three of our children napped simultaneously.
Outside it is too hot. Evie got a little heat rash from being out for a short while yesterday when we walked the kids to school from Nana and Grandads. Lucky for the four-year-old set, there are no fewer than three pools they can jump in for relief. Oh when can we escape to a cooler clime?

Great pictures! I can tell Evie's face has changed from her birthday. She looks more like her own little person now.
Love love love the pictures!! Is that some blonde fuzz I see on Evie?? She's such a beauty! And the crossing the street pic is a great one -- my boys call that a "people chain". :)

Great photos Steph! Evie is precious!
And I absolutely adore the photo of Paige! :) Great shot!
Lots of photos! Paige looks like she has the EYE of God. Wouldn't it be great to be so uninhibited that you don't think twice about walking around in your swimsuit (Anna)?
Glad everyone is getting rest at your house. Hope Mommy is too.
Josie, the crossing the street thing happened earlier in the day too. as the kids were going to camp, when none of us but Jennifer, who was in the line crossing the street, had a camera. Both Steph and I saw the moment and we have it in our memory bank.
I think Steph must have rearranged what we saw 3 hours earlier......Great job.
By the way, EB definitely is going to be a honey blonde....now that the jaundice is disappearing you can see it, even in pics as you see in this post. But in person, UP CLOSE, it is obvious even to relatively inobservant people like me.
Ooh, Dr Jenn and I were commenting simultaneously.............
Also, Mommy just entered my office and informed me that the return from camp picture was NOT posed and happened just like that. Well, in my opinion it is a picture that can be compared to the Marines hoisting the flag on Iwo Jima ( now Iwo To )
I need to learn how to take action shots like that.
Pictures are wonderful Steph...all of them. I would frame the one of Paige and I can not believe how old Evie looks already!
