It's the Hard Knock Life!

Poof! It was one heckofa March. As I mentioned before, we've had so many spring breakers that I've been blissfully happy! Then there's the ongoing house renovations creating a constant din, me running back and forth to Houston almost as much as Al has to CA, and to top it all off, I've spearheaded an act for the school talent show. Eight little first graders have been dutifully convening at our house three times a week for the past month, and I was SO PROUD of them last night at the Shining Stars talent show.

They were allowed to wear body pack microphones, and it was a real shuffle to get them all on before our turn. I taped them to each little cheek and wrapped them around the tiniest of ears. Then they called our group when there were still two packs on the floor - Nora's and Paige's. Paige's did not get secured, so she was really miffed at me. We decided next year she might perform a number all on her own so I can be sure to prep her properly! :) Other than that little snag, it was all very good.

I'm hoping one of the parents will send me a home vid of it, obviously I was too busy stage-mommying to get a recording, but I did snap a couple of pics.

I bet it was terrific! They all look so real - orphans. Congratulations to all, especially the "Stage Mom". Love, Nana
