Here is Graham, one proud 1st grader after his first EVER spelling test (check out what year it is! LOL)

Graham and Grandad, together in Houston, pre-Christmas celebration on the day we closed on the CA house. Being gents...

And being silly!

A New Year's sunrise over the pool

We have found our little garden sprite singing around the grounds often...

Merry Christmas. Our tradition of eggs benedict and champagne continues

A happy girl on Christmas morn with the dolly her Aunt Gwynn sent

Enjoying the haul from St. Nick

Waiting in the car for her siblings to get out of school. It's only a 5 minute carpool line, but she has missed them all day. She spent that day "helping" mom unbox the garage. She's wearing all the Paige- and Graham-me-downs she scored in the process. She's being sassy here, not sad, and showing off her little shoulder on purpose.

Our excited crew on their first day of school in California.

Reading on Christmas eve.

A chilly but fun last week of 2010, Nana and Grandad came out to see us. We loved it. We took them to the dog-friendly beach in Del Mar. Patchie reveled in the sandy fun.

The girls survey the tree on Christmas Eve. All set.

They are such eager readers, they gave it a shot on their own this Christmas.

We made cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Lots of butter, flour, cutters and fun.

We love the real Santa who comes to a friend's party every year on Christmas Eve Eve.

We surprise visited some good buddies when we hopped to Houston just before Christmas. Giggles everywhere!

Reading Elf on the Shelf (not my favorite new Christmas tradition, but oh well, in for a penny...)

The sweetest little snowflake poses gracefully...

I am so happy to see the family flourishing. It looks like the little ones had a holiday season overflowing with joy and cheer. Hope you are getting to relax in the new home some too. I miss you all very much.
Love them all...your life looks and feels so warm, vibrant, simple(I said looks..lol!), and cherished. Continue to enjoy Steph!

So many great pictures! It's like a feast for my eyes. My favorites are definitely the little sprite, Graham and Grandad acting silly, and graceful Paige as a snowflake. That pose is similar to the Valentine one you gave me a few years ago. LOVE!
Lovely pictures!
Love, M
