Two Houses Brought down to rubble on our street

This weekend was a nice break from the frenzied crush of the holidays. We didn't have much of a plan and enjoyed hanging around the house together most of the time. One of the postholiday traditions we've created is the demolition of the gingerbread houses in the driveway. As much as Paige and Graham enjoy and cherish their creations, they equally relish the chance to smash them to smitherines using a meat tenderizer as a wrecking ball.

Paige did a lot of big sistering today as well. She and Evie have bonded over their shared love of the Chumby. They watch Shamu-cam together, or Panda-cam, and like to find the HSM music on my iPhone, too. After all that staring into computer screens (not my favorite way to see them spend their downtime) I melted as they ate lunch together so lovingly.
