I am pleased to report we have two healthy 4 11/12ths-yr-olds. We had a very thorough examination, complete with vision, hearing, urinalysis and cbc's. In the car on the way to our appointment, I asked if they had any questions about their bodies. They said they both wanted to know why, after you sit for a long time, your feet get "tickly bubbles" that last "like, aaaahhhhlll day". Dr. Cook took the time to answer that with a little education on the nervous system. It was actually an enjoyable experience, with two chatty, giggly, lanky preschoolers in nothing but socks and undies who obviously think
Dr. Cook is a great pediatrician. I do too!
We've come so far. Every time I receive the sheet with their percentiles on height and weight, I think back to the early days when we were barely on the charts. 10% was a huge accomplishment. Keeping them from dipping down; weighing their diapers to make sure they were getting enough nutrition. Oh, and now they are so "normal" with average height and weight measurements. It's worth a trip down medical memory lane. (and one more thing, I found the lamb choppy picture of Paige and added it to the post below)

When I first clicked onto your site, I thought I had linked to an old post! They have grown so much. Such sweethearts.
They were wee. I so remember those precious hats! I was glad to meet them then, but they are much more fun now.
Oh, how they have grown...Oh, how much I am enjoying watching them grow!
