Blogless

Sorry for shifting the blog down to first gear; it is because life has shifted in to overdrive. If you follow me on facebook you already know I have been culling the surplus of stuff from our house. Wow is that a high! Graham is all over it. We are tidying left and right. Giving things away and throwing a good chunk in the trash, too. We are also considering some big changes in the way we live. Today, 13 recycled boxes of enviro-friendly alternative to bubble wrap arrived.

Paige and Graham are happily ensconced in their two separate 1st grades already. Well-adjusted and full of zest for life. Evelyn starts preschool Wednesday and she is only slightly miffed that it is me walking her to the gate rather than her Nana & Grandad. Ready. Set. Sit in three carpool lines. (or not, as I choose to walk up to each of their schools to retrieve them and greet them).

Today it was 110'F in Houston. Absolutely unbearable. Tonight I have chills and wonder if my body is in some bizarre state of shock? I need a facial, a massage and a margarita with friends. How's that for a blog post?

I think it's a good post. Wish you were here. It was 52 at 0700 when I got up. It's very cold now at 2200........
Also would really like to be there to walk Evie to PC.

It is tedious work to cull through closets and storage, but I too like the sense that a weight has been lifted and like you have more room to breathe!

Looking forward to doing the carpool/walk drill myself next week! Wish I could join you for the facial, massage and margarita. We need to plan another sisters thing.

I'm in culling mode too, feels good. My oldest started Kindergarten and I'm still trying to figure out the carpool line, can't imagine x three! I'm on FB too, can I send you a friend request?
