We are in full knowledge burst mode around here. I just love Graham's recent work with words. I know I'm a proud mom, and this phase of their childhood is feeding my pride big time! Here's a picture of two of his recent works done completely without prompting or help (I translated the lower one for posterity) He says he's saving the second page of the cardboard piece for next year when he definitely knows all his words so we can see the difference between the sounded-out ones and the 1st grader words. Can't get enough of this stuff. The second picture is a game of Sight Word Bingo they played with Edward yesterday afternoon for about 45 minutes. Good stuff! I encouraged them to do some physical play after all that concentrating, so they played pillow fight and hide-and-go-seek. Ah, childhood.

Awesome! I love the sweet background with smiley faces and his name. :-)
I absolutely love watching kids learn to read! To me, it is was more exciting than learning to walk.
And the phonetic kid spelling is priceless!
Graham has come along very rapidly since AOS. He really can do nice block caps and lower case letters well.
